This is a fork from Gyach Enhanced Yahoo! client for Linux operating systems. It was born purely out of impatience. Since there was no progress on Gyach Enhanced for about a year, a couple of impatient GYach Enhanced users decided to continue development of that client, fearing that original author Erica Andrews lost interest or abandoned project altogether. Therefore, in the true spirit of Open Source we, the developers, thought of simply “carrying on the torch”.

For v4l2 webcams: you’ll have to compile and use .

You need to follow the below steps for installing it in 64 bit package

64 bit package

Download the 64 bit package Ver. 1.1.48
note: this package has no room voice chat feature

installing gyachi in 64 bit system with 32 bit package if you want room voice chat
in your 64 bit system with 32 deb package, install getlibs

then in the terminal,

Force to install,

sudo dpkg -i –force-all gyachi_1.1.48-1_i386.deb
Get the 32 bit dependencies
sudo getlibs /usr/bin/gyachi

Thats it you are done with the installation
